Troubleshooting

Black Screen / No Image

  • Restart the headset by holding the power button for approximately 8 seconds and selecting Restart.
  • Check the battery indicator. If the headset is low on battery, charge it and try again.

Controller Not Responding

  • Press any button on the controller to pair it with the headset.
  • Check the controller battery level in the headset's main menu and replace the AA battery if necessary.

Trainee Stuck in Lesson

  • Assist the trainee with the menu or the lesson's interaction points.
  • If the issue persists, open the wrist menu (small home icon on the left wrist), select Leave Lesson, then relaunch.

View Tilted / Real World Visible The trainee has likely left the safety zone.

  1. Guide them back to the center of the boundary.
  2. If the boundary is misaligned: Meta Button > Quick Settings > Boundary > Roomscale > Create New Boundary and follow the on-screen steps.

Passthrough Mode Stuck

  • Check whether the trainee has moved outside the boundary (visible as a white circle on the floor).
  • If outside: guide them back inside — provided the circle is correctly placed relative to the training chair.
  • If the circle is misplaced: redo the boundary setup as described above.
  • If inside the circle and still in passthrough: press Resume in the Draxon app window or double-tap the right side of the headset.

DDID Invalid / Blocked

  • Check the 4-character code printed on the headset or controllers.
  • If the device is blocked after 10 failed attempts, contact Draxon Support.

Audio Missing

  • Increase the volume using the rocker switch on the underside of the headset.
  • Press the Meta button to open the quick menu and verify audio settings.

Nausea or Dizziness

  • Stop the session immediately. Do not encourage the trainee to push through.
  • Have the trainee remove the headset and rest. Symptoms typically subside quickly.

Headset Uncomfortable with Glasses

  • Press the small button next to each lens and gently pull the face pad outward on both sides to increase the space between the lenses and the face.

Updates Not Starting or Stuck

  • Restart the router and the headset.
  • Confirm the headset is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  • Move the router closer to the headset to improve signal strength.

Calibration Inaccurate / Safety Zone Incorrect

  1. Press the Meta button on the right controller.
  2. Open Quick Settings (bottom left).
  3. Select Boundary > Switch to Roomscale > Create New Boundary.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps, confirm, then press Meta to exit.

Lenses Fogging

  • Allow the headset to acclimate to room temperature before use, particularly after physical activity or in warm environments.
  • Clean lenses with a microfiber cloth if fogging persists.
