Setting the Boundary

The headset uses a boundary to track your movement in the room and the correct height. This is configured automatically and you will most likely never need to adjust it. The only time to follow the steps below is if a trainee mentions that the floor level or the dimensions of the virtual environment feel off.

Setting Boundaries

Steps

(If you want to access the boundary from inside a training lesson or the Draxon app, press the Meta button on your right controller first.)

  1. Open the Quick Settings panel in the bottom-left corner of the menu.
  2. Click on Quick Settings to open the options menu.
  3. In the top-right of the menu, select Boundary.
  4. When prompted, select Stationary, then choose Your Own Boundary.
  5. The headset will ask you to look at the floor. A purple grid appears. Make sure it lines up with the actual floor level. If it does not, use the joystick on the right controller to adjust the grid up or down until it sits flush with the floor.
  6. Once aligned, tap Confirm twice. Your boundary is now set.

Troubleshooting: Boundary Issues

If the boundary still does not behave as expected, check the environment settings:

  1. Open Quick Settings and select Settings in the top-right of the menu.
  2. In the left sidebar, navigate to Environment Setup.
  3. Select Boundary.
  4. Find Stationary Boundary Size and make sure it is set to Large (not Medium or Small).
  5. Close the settings. You are ready to go.
