Description

This lesson covers how to perform a Foreign Object Debris (F.O.D.) inspection on the apron before ramp operations. This builds awareness of common debris types and emphasizes the importance of removing all objects that could endanger aircraft or personnel.

  • Once all debris has been collected, the trainee proceeds to the F.O.D. bin and disposes of the items.
  • The lesson concludes when all debris has been cleared and confirmed, signaling a safe, obstruction-free apron.
