Belt Loader: At the Aircraft

Positioning at the Cargo Hold

• Teaches precise, safe positioning of the belt loader at the cargo hold.
• Teaches controlled lifting and lowering of the front boom to match cargo-hold height.
• Requires collaboration with a guide person for alignment and safety.
• Short crash demonstrations to highlight critical mistakes.
• Builds familiarity and confidence in on-ramp operation.

Operating at the Aircraft

• Teaches operating the conveyor belt at the aircraft safely and efficiently.
• Includes an error case with a colleague requesting help.

Exam

• Assessment of knowledge from Operating at the Aircraft via 15 multiple-choice questions (pass = 12/15).
• Topics include the mandatory brake test, correct sequence of operations, and understanding a guide person's hand signals.

Major Updates

• Dutch language enabled in all lessons; trainees can select Dutch for training.
