New Module: Power Stow: Equipment 101

Basics

  • Introduces the Power Stow Rollertrack Conveyor system and its role in moving baggage between cargo hold and belt loader
  • Shows a complete operation cycle: extending, activating, loading/unloading, and retracting the equipment
  • Covers key controls (toggle switch, height adjustment handles) and safety features (light sensors, emergency stop buttons)

Walkaround

  • Trains systematic pre-operational inspection using a structured checklist to identify damage, defects, or unsafe conditions
  • Covers inspection of controls, safety features, conveyor surface, rollers, and structural frame
  • Uses interactive fault identification with immediate feedback on incorrect assessments

Exam

  • A 10-question exam (pass: 8/10) evaluating understanding of Power Stow Basics and Walkaround procedures
  • Confirms trainee competence in Power Stow operation and pre-operational inspection

New Module: Headset Communication

Part 1: Preparing the Pushback

  • Teaches establishing headset contact with the cockpit and verifying pre-pushback safety conditions
  • Covers headset setup, initial contact using standard phraseology, radio checks, and coordination of safety checks (parking brake, steering bypass pin)
  • Structured in guided mode followed by advanced mode requiring selection of correct phraseology

Part 2: Executing the Pushback

  • Trains communication and safety procedures during active pushback operations
  • Covers parking brake release confirmation, hand signals to pushback driver, proper positioning while walking alongside the aircraft, and engine start communication procedures
  • Includes a captivating safety demonstration showing potential life-threatening consequences of accidentally entering the engines' danger zones
  • Concludes with final position procedures: setting the parking brake after pushback completion and confirming brake status to driver
  • Structured in guided mode followed by advanced mode requiring selection of correct phraseology

Part 3: Finishing the Pushback

  • Covers equipment disconnection sequence: detach towbar from tractor, detach towbar from nose gear, steering bypass pin removal, headset disconnection
  • Teaches final clearance procedures: confirming steering functionality and providing all-clear hand signal
  • Reinforces proper phraseology through guided practice followed by an advanced mode requiring the selection of the correct communication option

Exam

  • A 17-question exam (pass: 14/17) evaluating understanding of all Headset Communication procedures

Certificates — Trainer Portal

  • Trainees earn certificates upon completing all lessons within a course, compliant with IATA Airport Handling Manual (AHM) requirements. PDF certificates feature trainee details, station/company information, competencies covered, completion date, and validity period.
  • Certificates tab in trainee detail view lists all earned certificates (valid and expired) with download functionality
  • Certificate expiry tracking preserves historical records; new certificates issued upon course re-completion
  • Admins can configure validity periods and customer logos per station
